The Ask:
The number of life-altering injuries due to accidents involving e-bikes, e-scooters and scramblers had risen significantly.
The RSA wanted to appeal to parents and guardians around Christmas not to buy these vehicles for their children.
The Insight:
The injuries children are sustaining are more than broken limbs. These acquired brain injuries have a devastating, sometimes lifelong impact.
When you gift a child an e-scooter or scrambler, you could be gifting them a life-altering injury.
The Idea:
When kids get older, it gets harder and harder to know what they want, or to say no to the things they really want. But the reality is, in the case of e-scooters, quad bikes and scramblers, is that what these kids are "wishing" for this Christmas, will give them life-altering injuries.
Injuries that will have them wishing for very different things next Christmas...
